Chris spent the five years following his graduation building and refining software architectures for algorithmic trading and financial advisory platforms. In these fields, a minor delay or fractional rounding error leads to immediate financial loss.

As the sudden corporate rush to adopt generative AI took hold, he watched software engineering standards slide. Legacy vendors and speculative startups began selling generic, seat-licensed subscription packages. They wrap public API endpoints in slow, complex dashboards and label them proprietary software.

This isn't system integration. It is expensive bloatware that introduces fragile, unpredictable dependencies into core operational pipelines.
